There were 160 brothers present, coming from all the regions of the Communion.

AGREEMENTS AND DECISIONS REACHED AT THE ASSEMBLY


We reached very important Agreements and Decisions. Each one of them was approved unanimously.

These include:

1. Reaffirming our Catholic identity and our recognition of belonging to the one, holy, catholic and apostolic Church.

2. GIVEN THE DECISION TAKEN BY THE ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH OF BREAKING THE COMMUNION WITH US, we chose simply to be called “CATHOLIC” or, as circumstances require, for reasons of clarity, we will be called “Renewed Catholic”.

3. TO START THE DIALOGUE WITH CATHOLIC CHURCHES, INDEPENDENT FROM ROME, to ensure the Apostolic Succession and to organize our Church in such a form, that it reflects the organization of the Early Church, implements the Apostolic Tradition and answers to the expectation and needs of our communities.

4. To implement the permanent diaconate within our Church, after a careful study; it’ll be designed especially for community leaders, that they may exercise more adequately their ministry.

5. We reaffirm our commitment to evangelization and to develop and promote open communications, with communities committed to live accordingly to the Gospel and the life in the Spirit.

6. To intensify the ecumenical commitment of our Church, trying to establish communication with Ecumenical International Bodies
